SERVICE
Through selfless service to others, Alpha Phi Omega creates a foundation for leadership growth in its members. The service out chapter provides sets the Fraternity apart from other campus organizations. Very few provide the level and quality of service to the campus, and our community. Alpha Phi Omega splits service into four key areas: Nation, Community, Campus, and Service to the Fraternity. Each year our chapter records over 12,000 hours of service each year. This includes work in the area of youth service.

SERVICE TO THE NATION
As on of the four area’s of service of Alpha Phi Omega, we participate in a variety of national service initiatives. Two of which, National Service Week and Youth Service Day, are events sponsored by our national fraternity. These events are geared to allow chapters to impact different areas of service, and as a whole, allow the fraternity to impact that area nationally.

SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY
Our work with the community allows our chapter to have a greater impact where we live, and affecting the lives of the people that we live with for the better. Through partnerships with other non-profits we’ve been able to deliver service to a verity of demographics in our community. These projects include: Adopt-a-Street, Animal Shelter, Big Event, Blood Drive, Bone Marrow Drive, Cards for Kids, Cards for Troops, Cemetery Cleanup, Clothing Drive, Food Bank, Hospice Happening, Keep Brazos Valley Beautiful, Nursing Home, Relay for Life, Shack-a-Thon, and Special Olympics.

SERVICE TOÂ CAMPUS
Alpha Phi Omega’s tradition of giving back brings our love for service closer to the college community as we not only work with organizations within our twin cities, but also here on Texas A&M’s campus. We support other student organizations and university departments in their efforts to make the campus life at Texas A&M the best possible experience for its students. Some of the events we take part in include: Aggie Dance Marathon, Campus Cleanup, Make Your Day, and Student Research Week.
